Wool fitted coat

Fitted wool coat burda 8292. It's listed as average but really it is a very simple style.
I bought this fabric in Philly in a store that was going out of business. I paid five dollars a yard for it , it's lined with a flannel backed lining, which was more per yard than the wool.I interfaced the entire front with two different types, one was a medium weight and the other was called perfect fuse both by Palmer/Pletsch. I also used a lightweight bias cut interfacing in the bottom hem and sleeve hem.
This is the third winter coat I Have made and also the one I like the best. I always feel a little intimidated when it comes to making coats, and really it's just like making a longer jacket. One negative thing about this style is, you can't wear a jacket underneath way to bulky. Also it's a tad short to wear with boots [I like my coat to cover the top of my boots] I like it best with high heels and opaque tights, or jeans and flat ballerina type shoes.
